Professional Yakisugi finishes

Rubio Monocoat Sealer

Shou Sugi Ban Rubio Monocoat Sealer is a "2-layer system" that is applied to all burnt sides. 


Look: transparent, matt

Advantages: fixed charcoal layer of the wood.

Disadvantages: a time-intensive process and therefore more expensive.

Shou Sugi Ban Fix is a "1-layer system" that is applied to all charred sides. 


Look: transparent, matt or shiny

Advantages: fixed charcoal layer of the wood.

Disadvantages: currently no product sheet available.

Pro Wood Basic

Pro Wood Basic is a water- and dirt-resistant product.

The entire board is treated with Pro Wood Basic on all sides. 


Look: transparent, matt

Advantages: wood stays beautiful for much longer

Disadvantages: the charcoal layer of the wood can still flake off.
